Principal Ishrat Sajid from DIL Paradise Junior – 9 emailed us a charming story of how their school is taking even small strides to ensuring good hygiene among the students. They celebrated their “Hand Washing Day” on April 28, 2012 from 8am-1pm with involvement from all piedar members and the piedar in charge, Miss Saba.

Some students took charge and taught the others how to properly wash their hands while others were demonstrators. Every student in attendance learned the activity hands-on before watching an informational video on soap in the school’s computer lab. Reference sheets and models were also shown as part of the learning. The students had fun with their friends and learned healthy habits!
