After a decade of working with partner NGOs, in April 2006, DIL launched its own community schools in rural Islamabad— the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) project. DIL program staff now manages all education-related matters and the National Rural Support Program (NRSP) handles all community-related issues. The goal is to develop an educational model that can be replicated across Pakistan.
