In many underserved classrooms across Pakistan, learning stops at memorization. With limited access to quality materials, technology, or training, students fall behind early and stay behind.

That’s where TEAL comes in.
Launched in 2018, TEAL is DIL’s flagship model for middle school transformation. It brings together localized digital resources, interactive lesson plans, and continuous teacher support to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes.
What TEAL delivers

How it works

Why it matters
TEAL doesn’t just improve test scores. It changes how students see themselves as learners, thinkers, and future leaders.
After TEAL started at our school, we have seen remarkable changes. Students are excited about the TEAL classes and talk about them at home and in the community. Seven new students joined just to attend our school—even traveling from the city. Their families are willing to pay for transport because of the program.

My old school only used textbooks and learning was difficult. With TEAL, I can re-watch videos and now I understand things. My grades jumped from 15–20% to 90%.

TEAL’s impact is long-term. DIL graduates are increasingly entering higher education and professions like engineering, medicine, public service, education, software development, accounting, and business. A testament to the power of sustained, quality education.
Looking ahead
Building on the success of TEAL in middle school, DIL has developed new content, lesson plans, and teaching strategies for grades 9 and 10, enabling deeper learning and continuity through high school. This expansion supports students in staying engaged, developing critical skills, and preparing for college or career paths.
