About

DIL Las Vegas was started by Nighat Abdulla in 2011. Gradually, Nighat—alongside Aneeqa Akhtar, Iffat, Anwar, Shehryar Saghir, Amir Qureshi, and Tanveer Akbar—brought 23 people onto the board. The chapter held their first event in April 2011, attended by close to 350 guests, raising roughly $90,000. Since 2015, Aneeqa has served as president.
