U-Go's Female Scholars

U-Go offers financial scholarships funded by individuals and corporations to young women in low-income countries so they can pursue higher education. DIL recently obtained a grant to support 100 girls on these scholarships for 4 years of university education at $750 per student per annum!

For the 2022—2023 session, DIL will receive roughly $57,600 whilst the overall funding for the project over four years will amount to approximately $230,000. This scholarship initiative will be steered by our Graduate and Alumni Affairs team.

Presently, 102 of our girls are receiving U-Go scholarships. In the fall of 2022, 80 scholars were inducted and the remaining scholars began their journey a few months ago. The fields of study which these 102 girls have entered are shown on the left.
